The Rainbow Roll Fest organizing team regrets to announce that we will not be holding a festival in 2026.
While we absolutely love our annual celebration of queer and trans-led Actual Play, it’s become clear over the last three years that the demands of organizing the festival are greater than the capacity of our small organizing team. This year, we sat down and had a long conversation about whether we could each commit to doing enough of the work required to make Rainbow Roll Fest a success. We came to the conclusion that given our own energy levels, current world events, the current size of our volunteer base, and the amount of time and effort needed to train new volunteers, we just can’t make it work this year.
We know this may be disappointing news for a lot of folks, and we hope that Rainbow Roll Fest may return in future years. If you are interested in being a part of future Rainbow Roll Fest organizing teams, please email us at rainbowrollfest@gmail.com.
